Whats in Your Bag?

What’s in my bag??

It is a fascinating thing delving into the contents of someone else’s handbag and taking a peek at the items that save them on a daily basis. Each bag is a mini personal profile and unique to everyone that carries one.

So on that note, I thought I would share with you the products and secrets that help keep me on track through the day:

On a daily basis I will try and carry with me just the basics. A few essentials from my make up bag are a must! A hectic schedule with school runs, work, meetings, and, not forgetting, social occasions, requires constant re-touches. It is always useful to have a concealer and a lip-gloss in your bag when you need to refresh or top up your look ready for the next part of your day. A great concealer to use is the Radiant concealer by Crème De La Mer. It has an SPF of 25 and has a lightweight texture that is perfect for a quick application.

One of the most important products I keep with me is a sun cream or sun tan lotion with at least SPF 20 or higher. This should be worn on a daily basis as it is important to protect yourself from the UV rays that can cause signs of ageing. Most foundations nowadays contain SPF in them however it is still good idea to carry around a separate cream and a lip balm with SPF. Vichy Ideal Soleil BB tinted velvet cream SPF 50 is perfect at protecting and also leaves my skin feeling hydrated and soft and is a favourite of mine.

Keeping hydrated and moisturising is key to staying refreshed throughout the day. I make sure to keep an Espionce restorative hand cream with me at all times to help keep my hands moisturised and feeling soft.

A couple of make up products are a staple in my bag, however other necessities include a hairbrush, headphones and a notepad for jotting down my next blog post inspirations, and bubbles, because why not? Another key gadget I keep with me would be my camera for all of those priceless, memorable moments with my family. Lastly, I keep a blue evil eye bead with me as a talisman that brings good luck and happiness.
