Shine bright-Light EYES

As Christmas festivities are quickly approaching, lights are shining and we should light up the mirror of our soul, our eyes. For this reason on this month’s blog I am talking about one of my favourite treatments to light up the eyes and bring them back to life.

Light eyes is for those who seek refreshed, hydrated and textured eye areas without having to deal with volume & puffiness concerns.

Often, I am asked in the clinic which treatments are available for under eyes, ultimately one has heard about tear trough filler but it may not have sat well with the patient, causing some swelling and puffiness.

There are many treatments out there to tackle tired eyes, some more aggressive, others less aggressive but this one is my personal favourite and here’s why:

  1. It improves microcirculation
  2. Enhances elasticity
  3. Increases circulation and drainage therefore less tired eyes.

It is really a natural treatment reversing ageing factors.

The treatment is performed with small needles and aliquots of product are injected superficially on the under eye area. The product contains hyaluronic acid (One of the fundamental components of the connective tissue which enables the skin to maintain its form), Rosemary extract (An antioxidant rich in phyto lipids, useful for cutaneous repair) Superoksid Dismutase (SOD): Strong antioxidant found naturally in the body and in many plants. Argireline: Reduce the depth of facial wrinkles caused by the contraction of facial muscles aka the natural botox. Fermented papaya:With high carotenoid content that slows down the process of ageing caused by free radicals. Chamomile extract: Anti-inflammatory and soothing action. Ruscus and blueberry extract: An excellent phlebotonic, increasing the venous tone and reducing the excessive permeability of capillaries.Vitamin C: Factors in the formation of collagen, hyaluronic acid and of intracellular substances. Gives protection from free radicals and strengthens cutaneous tissues.

We recommend having this treatment every 2 weeks for 4 sessions. Thereafter every 6 months.

What else you’d need to know:

You would see results after your second session. Do not have this treatment the day before an event. Always give yourself a few days for downtime. As any treatment involving needles there are always risks of minimal swelling, redness and bruises.
