Sculptra is an FDA approved injectable poly-L-lactic acid that enhances collagen production in the dermis to help significantly restore and volumize the face and body with long lasting effects.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

Sculptra Aesthetic is an FDA approved non invasive treatment to improve the skins appearance by enhancing the natural production of collagen and elastin.  For full facial rejuvenation, one vial of Sculptra is needed for each decade of life and can be split into multiple sessions.  The skin is is cleansed and injections using local anaesthetic will be applied to affected areas.  Face may appeared swollen and numb from the anaesthetic injected for 30-45 minutes after each treatment.  Visible results will be seen within a few weeks and include reduced appearance of fine lines, hallows and wrinkles.

Sculptra injections can be placed in the buttocks to non surgically enhance the volume.  Multiple vials of sculptra will be needed in 1-3 sessions.

There is no recovery time and normal daily activities can be resumed after injections.  Swelling, numbness and bruising can be seen after treatment and generally resolve within hours to a week.

Skin will appear fresher, rejuvenated and the benefits can last up to two years. Sculptra can dramatically increase collagen production and improve tone and elasticity of the skin.  It can be used to improve skin texture from acne scarring.  This can be used in combination with other in office procedures.
