PRP – Platelet rich plasma – What Is It?
PRP – Platelet rich plasma is an injectable treatment using the individual’s own blood. This treatment consists of drawing blood from a vein which is spun in a machine in order to separate red and white cells. These white cells will be injected into the concerned area. The white cells (plasma) are known to have many benefits as they contain proteins that support tissues to grow, heal and regenerate them. This is an excellent treatment to have any time in the year as there’s no downtime and promotes skin quality.
