BroadBand Light is a customizable treatment of light that is absorbed by chromophores in the skin to destroy superficial pigmentation such as brown spots and seal dilated blood vessels. BBL™ also has a regenerative effect in the skins’ dermis promoting collagen and elastin production to tighten the skin and improve skin texture.
Aesthetic outcomes can be enhanced when combined with other treatments. Intense sun exposure should be avoided one month prior and following treatment.

WHAT TO EXPECT?
A cooling gel is first applied to the area that will be treated and then the light is gently applied. The BroadBand Light pulses destroy superficial pigmentation and seals dilated blood vessels. Sessions are quick and the treatment causes little discomfort (some patients compare the sensation to that of a rubber band snapping against skin). Mild swelling and redness may be experienced and resolves quickly. Pigmented lesions will become darker for 5-10 days and then flake off.
